Absolute category rating

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Absolute Category Rating (ACR) is a test procedure that is used to determine the video quality. The procedure was based on ITU-T Recommendation P.910. standardized. Different test sequences are played to the test subjects one after the other. There is an approximately ten-second pause between the individual video sequences, during which the test subjects rate the quality on a scale. The quality scale according to the Mean Opinion Score (short: MOS) is often used here.
