Graduate badges havea long traditionin Poland . Such badges were donated and awarded to graduates and members of the associationeven before the Second World War .
To this day, graduate badges have been officially awarded for successful completion of training or studies at a military educational institution, up to the General Staff Academy of Poland , for soldiers or civilian graduates.
Graduate badges are also awarded to officers from other countries who successfully complete their studies at an officers' college or the General Staff Academy in Poland. The lapel of this badge is provided with a threaded mandrel and a knurled fastening nut, with which it can be screwed to the uniform.
