Guying (fire brigade)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Anchoring refers to the end of a fire brigade deployment . The term is derived from the disengagement of a horse, the so-called unclamping or tensioning. In earlier times, when the fire brigade rushed to the site with fire engines pulled by horses , operations began with harnessing the horses and ended with harnessing them . The term is still used in technical terms, although horses are no longer used.
