Acasta Island is an uninhabited island in the Indian Ocean off the coast of the Australian state of Western Australia . It is 8.2 kilometers from mainland Australia.
It is 200 meters long, 70 meters wide and four meters high. The neighboring islands are called Lauangi Island , Laplace Island and Descartes Island .
