Edward Goodrich Acheson Award
The Edward Goodrich Acheson Award is an award from the Electrochemical Society . It is endowed with 10,000 US dollars (as of 2018) . The winners will also receive a medal and the opportunity to give a lecture on the topic of the award-winning research at one of the Electrochemical Society's congresses.
The award is given to members of society who have distinguished themselves through special scientific or technical developments and services to the Electrochemical Society.
The prize is named after Edward Goodrich Acheson , who both donated the prize and was the first prize winner.
