Acilius Aviola

Acilius Aviola († 1st century) was a Roman military from the Gens Acilia . In the year 21 he was the praetoric legate of the province of Gallia Lugdunensis and put down a revolt of the Sacrovir there . In research, a possible identity with the suffect consul of the year 24, Gaius Calpurnius Aviola , is being discussed.
