The Ackerende Wiegboldsbur is a protected, extensive natural monument in the area of ​​the community Südbrookmerland in the Lower Saxony district of Aurich in East Frisia . It bears the number ND AUR 00123.

Description of the area

The extensive natural monument, designated on April 14, 1989, is located in the midst of agricultural land on an area bounded by the Balkweg, Meddehornweg and Moorfenenweg. It mostly consists of fallow swampy terrain with a slight hollow in the middle of the terrain. The district placed the area under protection as a habitat for particularly protected plant species in order to protect it from destruction and changes in the type of use.
