Field hackrain

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ackerhackrain describes extensive agriculture mostly in terraced locations. Due to their difficult accessibility, they can only be ordered by hand - with a hoe .

The vineyards , which fell fallow in the middle to the end of the 19th century , were used as grassland and, until the middle of the 20th century, often even as arable land. These meager slopes have increasingly fallen out of use as marginal income locations in the past decades. Plant populations developed that make the Hackraine an important location for nature conservation .
