The ad rem ( Latin ad rem = "to the point") is one of the largest German regional student newspapers .

18,000 copies are published free of charge during the lecture period every Wednesday at the university in Dresden. 35 authors write the texts, v. a. Students at the Technical University of Dresden . The publisher is the Dresdner Magazin Verlag GmbH . The editor-in-chief is Nadine Faust.

The ad rem appeared for the first time on December 14, 1989 in Dresden, so far more than 680 issues have appeared.
