Ad tempus concessa post tempus censentur denegata is a term used in Latin legal language . In terms of content, it means that what has been granted for a time is automatically denied after the time has elapsed. ( Codex Justinianus 10, 61, 1). The contraposition (also called the reverse in law) reads: Ad tempus prohibitum post illud tempus censetur permissum; what is forbidden for a time is considered permitted after the time has elapsed.
