Addai (architect)
Addai was a 6th century Eastern Roman architect. He worked in Edessa . Together with Asaph , he was probably the architect of the reconstruction of the Cathedral of Hagia Sophia in Edessa, which was completed between 543 and 554 . Both are known from the Syrian Hymn of Initiation for the Church.
