Adrian Schoop

Adrian Schoop (born November 15, 1985 in Baden AG ) is a Swiss entrepreneur and politician ( FDP ).

In 2017 Schoop was elected to the Grand Council of the Canton of Aargau , where he has a seat on the Justice Commission. He has been a member of the municipal council of Turgi (AG) since 2012, and has chaired it as municipal mayor since 2017. Until 2018 he was a member of the management of the FDP Aargau and its chief financial officer. As a delegate of the FDP Liberal Switzerland , he represents the Aargau FDP at national level.

Adrian Schoop holds a doctorate in law and economics from the University of St. Gallen (Dr. iur. HSG). He is the managing director of Soba Inter AG, an international trading company active in the construction and industrial sectors. The company is part of the Schoop Group, of which Adrian Schoop is a member of the management and board of directors.
