History and construction

The development of the AB 260AG began in 1971 as the AG.235 / 260, but various problems interrupted the project and work on it did not resume until the 1980s. The aircraft is a single-seater, braced, low- wing aircraft with a conventional tail unit and a non-retractable tail wheel landing gear . The fuselage and wings consist of a tubular steel frame construction that is covered with a plastic film. The aircraft has a single-seat closed cockpit and is powered by a Lycoming O-540-H2B5D with 194 kW.
