Anton Höchl

Anton Höchl (born February 20, 1820 in Munich ; † February 21, 1897 there ) was a Bavarian brick factory owner and architectural painter.

Life

Anton Höchl was the son of Josepha Widmann (* 1786 in Munich; † 1877 there) and the builder and brickworks owner Joseph Höchl (born March 6, 1777 in Neumarkt-Sankt Veit ; † January 6, 1838 in Munich). After his father's death in 1838, Anton inherited his property and brickworks in Bogenhausen. At first he managed the business under the supervision of a guardian. In 1841 he appointed an administrator so that he could devote himself more to art. However, he never gave the business completely out of hand.

Mason justice

As a dowry for his marriage to Therese Trisberger (* December 4, 1775; † February 25, 1806) Joseph Höchl received from stepfather Matthias Widmann (* 1749; † 1825) bourgeois master mason in Munich on May 28, 1804 the master mason justice. This establishment inherited Joseph Höchl to his second wife Josepha Widmann, sister of master mason Xaver Widmann (* 1792, † 1859), which they on 8 November 1847 * 15 to the 1839 audited architect Johann Nepomuk Bürkel (Mai 1812 in Pfaffenhofen an the Ilm church book there 1812, p. 199) sold for 4,000 guilders .

Musician

From January 6, 1838, Anton Höchl also used the Höchl-Schlössl for evening music , where he played the cello, viola or flute, for the neighborhood to which Max Joseph belonged in Bavaria .
