The Agence CAPA ( Chabalier & Associates Press Agency ) is a French news agency and production company, headquartered in Paris , which on 1 August 1989 by Hervé Chabalier was founded.

250 employees are employed, 134 of them work full-time. Reports, magazine content, documentaries, television formats, corporate films and multimedia are produced. Sales in 2008 were € 45 million.

The company is divided into five subsidiaries: Capa Presse TV, Capa Entreprise, Capa drama, Capa cinéma and Capa numérique.

Since February 15, 2010, Hervé Chabalier is no longer the main shareholder of the news agency, but Fabrice Larue Capital Partners (FLCP) holds the majority. The other major shareholders are Hervé Chabalier (17.5%), Canal + (12%) and 30 employees of the company (10.5%).

In October 2012, Bernard Zekri took over the operational management of Capa Presse and Capa Prod from the founder Hervé Chabalier. In November 2013 it was announced that Zekri was handing over the post of General Director at CAPA to journalist Pascal Manoukian at the end of the year.
