The Agrisano includes five enterprises: Agrisano Foundation, Agrisano health insurance AG, Agrisano Versicherungen AG, Agrisano Prevos and Agrisano Pencas. They appear together and offer farming families and their employees self-developed and needs-based insurance solutions: Compulsory health insurance, supplementary and daily allowance insurance, global insurance for non-family employees, comprehensive advice, tax-privileged savings, offers in occupational and voluntary occupational pension schemes and other insurance solutions. Agrisano thus offers farming families all insurance from a single source. The Agrisano companies are administratively and organizationally integrated into the Social Affairs and Services Department (DSD) of the Swiss Farmers' Association (SBV). Agrisano works closely with the cantonal agricultural professional organizations that operate regional offices (regional offices) for Agrisano.

The Swiss Farmers' Association has with the Agrisano Foundation created an organization that enables it to offer farmers good and specially tailored to their needs insurance solutions. The core tasks of the foundation, which is 100% owner of Agrisano Krankenkasse AG and Agrisano Versicherungen AG, are promoting insurance protection, social security, health care and damage prevention in agriculture.

The Agrisano Krankenkasse AG has three core areas - the compulsory basic insurance that CCG pay insurance and accident insurance under UVG - and already has more than 130,000 basic insurance. They are ready to act as independently as possible and yet respect mutual solidarity. This behavior is primarily responsible for our low premiums. Small risks should be borne by yourself. On the other hand, it is important to adequately insure large risks. Agrisano Krankenkasse AG has 132,000 insured persons and in 2016 achieved premium income of around 390 million Swiss francs in compulsory health insurance. Basic insurance under the Health Insurance Act is the main business.

The Agrisano Versicherungen AG has been awarded the own SG-insurance business. The core product is the AGRI-Spezial supplementary insurance, which is specifically geared towards the needs of the agricultural community. 74,000 farmers are already benefiting from it. Another core product is the agricultural daily allowance insurance AGRI-income. The insurance brokered is also of great importance.

The Agrisano Prevos wants to ensure that the farmers and their assisting family members on favorable terms under voluntary occupational pensions (pillar 2b) for disability, death and old age represent and can also benefit from the tax advantages of the second column.

The Agrisano Pencas is built by the Swiss Farmers' Association Community Foundation. It serves as an occupational pension for non-family employees in agriculture and vegetable growing. Agrisano Pencas wants to ensure that employers and employees can implement the occupational pension scheme in accordance with the Federal Law on Occupational Retirement, Survivors' and Disability Pension Plans (BVG) at the most advantageous conditions. The special situation in agriculture and vegetable growing is taken into account by the special design of the offer and the administration. With the range of extended plans, the special needs of different groups of people are addressed.
