Aige
Aige ( ancient Greek Αἴγη ) is an Amazon of Greek mythology .
It appears only in the Epitoma Festi by the Lombard historian Paulus Diaconus , an epitome from the incompletely preserved work De Verborum Significatu by the lexicographer Sextus Pompeius Festus . She is presented as Queen of the Amazons and is considered the eponymous heroine of the Aegean Sea , in which she is said to have found her death.
