The Aitxuri ( Basque for "white stone") is the highest mountain in the Autonomous Community of Basque Country with 1551 msnm and is located in the Aizkorri massif . It is located in the province of Gipuzkoa .
The normal ascent routes for mountain hikers start at the Arantzazu pilgrimage church (approx. 2½ hours) and in Zegama (approx. 4½ hours).
