The Academic Ice Hockey Club Zurich (abbreviated to Academic EHC Zurich or AECZ) is a Swiss sports club from Zurich that became the Swiss international ice hockey champion in 1915/16 .
The club was founded in 1908 by students from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and took part in the Swiss ice hockey championship for the first time in 1910/11 . In 1929 and 1931 the club was invited to the Spengler Cup in Davos .
