Brick Action activist

The badge activist of the brick campaign was an award of the Free German Youth (FDJ) in the Soviet occupation zone , which was awarded in 1948 as part of the brick campaign (clearing the cities) to FDJ members from the very beginning.

Appearance and wearing style

The badge is oval, golden and at first glance reminds of a battle arena . On his writing is ACTIVIST OF BRICK ACTION, with the lower semicircle being defined by two crossed laurel branches. The center of the badge is white, in its upper half shows the symbol of the FDJ in front of a rising sun and in the lower third a red brick wall with the year 1948 .
