Alarm memory

An alarm memory is a device in detectors or in alarm control panels that stores events such as alarm triggering or faults.

The storage is retained even after the system has been disarmed. With this facility in alarm control panels, one speaks of a "background memory", which is still available after a long time, e.g. B. after weeks, can be "read". For example, an alarm memory is integrated in glass break detectors . When alarms are saved in motion detectors , which of several motion detectors was triggered first is saved.
