The Albert Lifesaving Medal is a British award for saving lives in memory of Prince Albert (1819–1861), Queen Victoria's husband .

It was awarded from March 7, 1866 for life saving at sea and from 1877 also on land, until it was replaced by the George Cross from 1971 .
