Albucius Candidus (his prenomen is not known) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

Several military diplomas have shown that on April 5, 121, Candidus was in command of the Ala I Ulpia Contariorum , which at that time was stationed in the province of Dacia superior .

An Albucia Candida is known through an inscription , who was married to Gaius Valerius Pansa and who was possibly the daughter of Albucius Candidus. Another inscription, dated to the second half of the 3rd century, shows a Marcus Albucius who may have been a later relative.
