Aldra is a Norwegian island in Helgeland at 66 ° 25 'north latitude and 13 ° 01' east longitude. Aldra serves as a longest wave transmitter. Until 2002 there was an antenna stretched over the fjord at 66 ° 25 '12.68 "north latitude and 13 ° 08' 13.07" east longitude , which served as a transmitting antenna for the OMEGA radio navigation system until 1997 . There is a similar antenna on the west side of the island, which was used by the long-wave transmitter JXN .
