Aleos (son of Aigisthus)
Aleos ( Greek Ἀλεός ) was a figure in Greek mythology . He was the son of Aigisthus .
Aleos took the opportunity when Orestes was persecuted by the Erinyes in order to rise to the position of usurper in Mycenae . After Orestes returned, he killed Aleus. Sophocles worked on the subject in a dramatic way.
