The Alexander Lenard House ( Sítio e Residência de Alexander Lenard ) in Dona Emma in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina was the home of the writer Alexander Lenard , who practiced as a doctor in the small town.

In 1953 Lenard bought a sítio (farm) in Dona Emma, on the left side of the road to Nova Esperança. First he built a simple wooden house on the property. After Lenard won a large amount of money on a TV quiz show in 1956, he used the prize money to build a better house that gave him more space to write and receive patients. In his book A Day in the Invisible House (1970) he writes:

"It's about two hundred paces from the road, pasture in front of it, orange trees all around, and up to the slope of the Serra, up to the forest, the land is mine: four hectares that have already carried good Aipim and now with a dozen olive trees, a walnut tree, a tiny vineyard, waiting for chestnuts, apricots, red oranges and apples - four hectares, ready to green and serve. My house, I say proudly, is more diverse than any other. Sometimes it's a breakfast house, butter and honey are waiting on the table. Sometimes it's a sad house and sometimes it's my homeland. "

- Alexander Lenard: A day in the invisible house

The house and its furniture have remained unchanged to this day and are now a listed building. It is currently uninhabited, but the idea is to set up a literature museum there. Behind the building, on a hill, is Lenard's grave, which is visited by many tourists.
