Alexander Peiler

Alexander Peiler (born September 8, 1984 in Ahlen , Westphalia) is a German actor and filmmaker .

Life

Peiler studied German literature, sports science and history in Bochum and Münster from 2005 to 2008. From 2008–2012 he studied acting at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg and the “Konrad Wolf” University of Film and Television in Potsdam-Babelsberg.

Engagements then took him to the Hans Otto Theater Potsdam , the Theater Junge Generation Dresden, the Landestheater Coburg and the Theater Marburg . From the 2015/16 season he is engaged at the Schauspiel Wuppertal .

Peiler is the director and producer of the film project Yalla Baby , in which young people from Jenin, Marburg and Wuppertal develop a film together. As co-producer, screenwriter (together with Jessica Jacobi) and actor Alexander Peiler is shooting the road movie SOMEHOW in Europe and Africa. Here he worked for the first time with Aki T. Weisshaus.
