Alfredo Gomez Morales

Alfredo Gómez Morales (born March 29, 1908 in Buenos Aires ; † October 12, 1990 there ) was an Argentine economist and politician .

Career

Gómez Morales was President of the Banco Central de la República Argentina from 1949 to 1952 and also Argentina's finance minister. In the second government of Juan Perón , he was Minister for Economic Affairs from June 1952 to September 1955. Perón's wife Isabel brought him into her cabinet as Minister of Economics in October 1974.
