In the following years, awareness increased steadily through public appearances, an own radio show and the 2001 released second album Spaced . Alif Tree celebrated a first major success in 2006 with the single Forgotten Places , which appeared on the album French Cuisine .

Alif Tree often uses vocal samples from well-known jazz singers such as Shirley Horn or Nina Simone , but also works with singers.
