Allergy no hi

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Allergie no Hi ( Japanese ア レ ル ギ ー の 日 , Arerugī no Hi , Eng . "Day of Allergies") is a Japanese memorial day that has been taking place on February 20 every year since 1995 . On this day, the merits of the Ishizaka couple, Ishizaka Kimishige and Ishizaka Teruko in researching the immunoglobulin E antibody and its particular importance for allergies will be commemorated. The memorial day was initiated by the Japanese Association for Allergies ( 日本 ア レ ル ギ ー 協会 , Nihon Aruregī Kyōkai ). Usually, “Allergy Day” is the focus of “Allergy Week”, which the Japanese Association for Allergies uses to educate people about allergies.
