General bishop

General bishop or general bishop is an episcopal office in the Coptic Orthodox Church , whose office holder is appointed by the Coptic Patriarch of Alexandria for special tasks. He does not lead a diocese like a diocesan bishop , is not a titular bishop , does not ordain clerics for his area of ​​office and does not have a crosier . The office is similar to the patriarchal vicar , auxiliary bishop or vagante bishop in other churches.
