General German Sports Association
The General German Sports Association (ADSB) was a Berlin sports and football association that also hosted championship games in the Reich capital for two years. He belongs to the group of former German football associations 1890-1933 and raised in his name like other Berlin associations in the 1890s a theoretical claim to representation for the entire German Empire , which he could not meet.

resolution
After the 1897/98 season, the General German Sports Association not only stopped playing football, it also dissolved at the end of 1898. A request published in a sports newspaper at the end of 1898 indicated that the conditions in the ADSB were not ideal:
" Last request to the General German Sports Association.
Since we have responded to our various requests to the ADSB to this day, e. Hd. Of the chairman Mr. C. Schurig, here, as well as to our public request a few weeks ago to deliver the price we are entitled to for the football championship of Berlin 1897/98 advertised by the ADSB, without any answer, the ADSB rather did prefers to hide in silence, we hereby call on the ADSB, as well as the clubs belonging to the same (SC Nord-West, SC Germania, Sport-Club v. 1891, etc.) for the last time to fulfill their obligations towards us and us to hand over the price due for the stakes paid.
If we are not in possession of the prize by January 15, 1899, we feel compelled to settle the matter in another way. The board of the BFC Frankfurt. "
