Alois Mühlbacher

Alois Mühlbacher (* 1995 in Hinterstoder , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian singer ( boy soprano , countertenor ).

Mühlbacher received his training with the St. Florian Boys' Choir . Here he achieved wide recognition as a boy soloist. This then led to engagements in 2010 (at the age of 15), including several times at the Vienna State Opera .

He was a guest at the Salzburg Festival and in Tokyo, and his appearances were documented by ORF and ARTE.

He has been a countertenor since the very late mutation of his voice.

In Linz he was also trained as an actor.
