The band AlpenStrolche was founded in 2013 by Rüdiger Winter.

Band history

The band was recruited from the former band Speedlimit. From this band played in the newly founded band Alpenstrolche Rüdiger Winter and drummer Sebastian Römer as well as keyboard player Gerrit Hillebrink. Detlef Hahn joined the band as the fourth member. The band worked with some lyricists and composers, the first songs were produced by DSH Records and under their own direction by Georg Wörle. The title I would like to see the mountains with you, produced by Wörle, was a success. Here the band followed up with the album Das Zillertal ist everywhere , which was produced by Ritt Sound .

In 2015 Gerrit Hillebrink left the band and was replaced by the guitarist Jonny King, and Detlef Hahn left the band in 2017. Jona Lauer has been a singer in the band since 2018. Several TV appearances, radio broadcasts and participation in contests made the band known beyond the borders of the country. In the relevant hit parades, the band was always able to place itself in the first places.

The personnel changes were followed by changes in the musical style: alpine music and folk music in German and English. This variant did not exist on the music market. The titles Lass den Sonnenschein in Herz and Let's boarisch were produced with Hannes Marold , a mix of modern and folk elements with bilingual texts, German and English. Both were released as single on Tyrolis in 2019 .
