Alpha Phi Omega

Alpha Phi Omega (ΑΦΩ, also APO) is the largest fraternity in the United States and primarily unites former scouts .

Alpha Phi Omega was founded in 1925 at Lafayette College . It grew rapidly in the years after the Second World War. In 1950 there were 227 chapters in the United States. In the same year the first was founded in the Philippines . In 1976 membership was also opened to women.

Today there are over 600 active chapters and more than 400,000 brothers worldwide.
