Altneuland (magazine)

Altneuland was a monthly magazine dedicated to the economic development of Palestine .

Edited by Franz Oppenheimer , Selig Eugen Soskin and Otto Warburg , Altneuland was published monthly from 1904 to 1906 by Jüdischer Verlag (Berlin).

Altneuland served as the organ of the Zionist Commission for the Exploration of Palestine and was primarily devoted to providing practical information on the economic development and settlement of the country. In addition to contributions from the fields of climatology , geology and agriculture, reports on successful colonization projects should inform and motivate potential immigrants .
