Altstätten-Gais Railway

The Altstätten-Gais-Bahn (AG) was a Swiss railway company that existed from 1911 to 1949. Hers until today operated railway Altstätten-Gais , a nearly eight-kilometer long and partially with a rack equipped narrow-gauge railway .

1949 merged the AG with the Electric Railway St. Gallen-Gais-Appenzell (SGA) to St. Gallen-Gais-Appenzell-Altstätten-Bahn (SGA). This in turn is now integrated into the Appenzeller Bahnen (AB), which also operate the AG main line from Altstätten to Gais.
