The Amadeus Foundation is a non-profit foundation based and operating in Winterthur ( Switzerland ). It was built in 2002 by the Swiss composer Franz Tischhauser (1921–2016). It promotes the printing and distribution of instrumental music by composers who work in the tonal field. Only unpublished or out-of-print works that do not generate any income that covers costs are funded.

The foundation also looks after the music library of the Winterthur publisher Bernhard Päuler, which is entrusted as a deposit. It is an extensive collection of chamber music in first prints and manuscripts from the 17th to 20th centuries.
