Amagat

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Amagat ( unit symbol : amg ), named after the French physicist Émile Amagat , is a unit used by physicists for the particle density of gases . It is defined as the molar volume of an ideal gas under normal conditions . A distinction is made between the so-called Amagat volume unit and the Amagat density unit .

1 Amagat volume unit = 0.022414 m³ / mol

1 Amagat density unit = 44.615 mol / m³
