AMECO database
The AMECO database ( AMECO : English for annual macroeconomic ) or annual macroeconomic database is a database of the European Commission on macroeconomic indicators. The database contains national accounts data and other important country data such as interest rates, exchange rates and industries for the member states of the European Union and other OECD countries such as the USA and Japan . The data is updated twice a year, in spring and autumn. The database serves as the basis for macroeconomic studies and forecasts at the EU Commission.
The data in the AMECO database are made available to the public free of charge. They are subject to copyright and a disclaimer of liability by the EU Commission.
Part of the data is consistent with the national accounts of the countries which according to the System of National Accounts or ESA by the national authorities or by international authorities such. B. the OECD , published. Some of the data are based on calculations made by the EU Commission.
