Amenemope (Viceroy of Kush)

Amenemope was viceroy of Kush of the 19th dynasty under Sethos I and Ramses II. He was the son of Paser I and grandson of Amenhotep-Huy , both also viceroys of Kush. Amenemope had a remarkable career. He served as a frond bearer on the right of the king , ruler of the southern lands and king's son of Kush .

He is known from several monuments and inscriptions: Near Philae , in Buhen , on the island of Sehel , in the temple of Bet el-Wali and on Gebel Doscha .
