American Institute of Chemists

The American Institute of Chemists (AIC) is a professional association of chemists in the United States founded in 1923 . Their objectives are to promote the profession of chemists and chemical engineers , promote the common good and establish standards for the profession of chemists, for example through certification. They award the American Institute of Chemists Gold Medal , Chemical Pioneer Award, and other awards, and publish The Chemist magazine.
