Jeannine Rossi
Jeannine Rossi (born June 27, 1988 in Straß in Steiermark ) is an Austrian pop , rock and pop singer . She was a participant in the casting productions Popstars (2004), Heart of Austria (2014) and Deutschland sucht den Superstar (2015).
Career
In 2002, the 14-year-old was diagnosed with vocal cord nodules. Despite healing speech therapy , she devoted herself to dancing and initially left singing on the back burner. After graduating from high school, she trained as a fingernail designer and initially worked for a few hours at private music schools as a hip-hop teacher. Autodidactically, Rossi acquired several singing techniques and also teaches as a vocal coach.
Since then she has performed around 100 times a year in Austria. Among other things, there were joint appearances with Jürgen Drews and Percival . Her first solo debut album Breakthrough was released in 2009. Their genre was still based on electronic pop music. In 2013 Rossi said goodbye to his image as a club and party singer and switched to Schlager and Austropop .
After her appearance on the Austrian music show Herz von Österreich , her first song written in dialect entered the iTunes hit charts on the day Zick Zack was released. Her second dialect single Summazeit took third place at the Schlagerportal.com summer hit competition. In 2015, she took fourth place in the twelfth season of the German talent show Deutschland sucht den Superstar .

- World Champion with "Casino" at the International Dance Challenge in the USA (Status: PLATINUM)
- With the Graz Choir Pop Vox: Best European Pop and Gospel Choir at the "World Choir Games" in Graz (Award: GOLD)
- 2014 dialect single "Zick Zack" at number 2 on the iTunes hit charts
The cover version "Wilds Wasser" is also placed in the iTunes hit charts
