American Journal of Physics

The American Journal of Physics is a monthly journal published by the American Association of Physics Teachers and the American Institute of Physics . She has peer reviewed and mostly publishes articles on physics didactics. However, historical and cultural aspects of physics are also treated.

Resource letters on various physical topics are published in a regular section.

The magazine first appeared from 1933 as American Physics Teacher (which appeared quarterly and later every two months). The magazine has had its current name since 1940.

The ISSN is 0002-9505.
