Official control point information system

The Official Control Point Information System ( AFIS ) is within the remodeling of geoinformation of official surveying and mapping in Germany designed information system , the information of the geodetic contains spatial reference. In particular, this is information on the position control points , height control points and gravity control points of the German land survey . Information on reference station points is also kept. The author of the remodeling is the working group of the surveying administrations of the federal states of the Federal Republic of Germany (AdV) .

The official control point information system is one of the three sister systems AFIS, ALKIS and ATKIS , which are described according to an integrated conceptual model.
