Senior Official (Germany)

The senior official was a term in Germany from the administration under National Socialism .

The elders corresponded to the local councils. Special provisions of the German Municipal Code (DGO) applied to them. They formed the mayor's council of leaders. The same rules applied to their appointment as to the municipal councils . In the case of the DGO's legal obligation to be heard, they were increased by two more in accordance with Section 50. The elders could also be heard.
