Officials in the Ministry of Justice and police officers in the administrative service
Police officers and lawyers in the Ministry of Justice with official titles of the police can wear police uniforms and official plates. Unlike in Germany, for example, the uniform does not follow a fixed salary framework, but is exclusively linked to the position. Police officers on duty as head of administration can wear official IDs and uniforms such as political assistant (with two stars) or the higher official ID that was worn before the transition to administrative service. Police officers in the administrative service can wear police uniforms and official badges such as political assistant (with two stars).
Prosecution
The police in Denmark are the first instance prosecution . The police lawyers were therefore in uniform and had police-like official titles. Since 2007, only the chief prosecutors (leading senior public prosecutors) have worn uniforms. Other prosecutors with the official titles Advokaturchef (Attorney General), former Politiadvokat , Specialanklager , Senioranklager (first prosecutor), former Politiassessor af first degree , Accuser (prosecutor), former Politiassessor and Anklagerfuldmægtig (law clerk), former Politifuldmægtig , do not wear uniforms.
