Amut-piʾel

Amut-piʾel was king of Qatna at the time of the Babylonian king Hammurapi. It is documented by numerous letters from Mari on the Euphrates knee and according to these was an ally of the local ruler Zimri-Lim . He also had ties to the former rival Jamḫad , where Jarim-Lim I ruled at the time .
