Anapra

The Colonia Anapra is part of the city of Ciudad Juárez in the northern Mexican state of Chihuahua .

Around 25,000 people live in Anapra, but some of the district has no running water, no electricity and no sewage system. This settlement, which lies directly on the border with the USA, did not come into being until the 2000s and 2010s, when more and more maquiladoras settled in the area of ​​the twin cities of El Paso ( Texas ) and Ciudad Juárez, taking advantage of the wage gap between the two countries .
