André van Vliet

André van Vliet (born August 18, 1969 in Benschop ) is a Dutch organist .

Van Vliet received his first organ lessons from Gijsbert Lekkerkerker and from Herman van Vliet . As a nine-year-old he was already doing the organ service in his home community. He studied at the Conservatory in Utrecht with Nico van den Hooven, Jan Welmers and Jan Raas. He has given concerts in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Canada, Switzerland and the USA. Since 1988 he has also worked as a choir director. He works as an organist at the Hervormde Gemeente van Polsbroek & Vlist and presents the instruments of the Dutch organ building company Johannus in all of their promotional videos.
